I'm a PhD student at TUM researching multi-omics diagnostics for rare movement disorders. My interests lie in bridging new methods in bioinformatics, genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics to real clinical data, and I’m constantly looking to expand my analytical and research skills within both.

I graduated from Harvard Medical School with a Master's in Biomedical Informatics where I performed research on leveraging LLMs on ClinVar text entries for improved classification of variants of uncertain significance (VUS) and worked as a teaching fellow for Foundations of Biomedical Informatics. I also interned at Vertex as a Statistical Programming Intern where I produced (comparable to SAS) ADaM datasets following CDISC guidelines for Phase 3/4 Clinical Trials in R.
Prior, I was at the University of Chicago studying Quantitative Biology and minoring in Data Science where I was also a teaching assistant for and upper-level undergraduate course Mathematical Methods for Biological Sciences I and II, and team captain of the varsity diving team.
Fibroblast Transcriptomics in Molecular Diagnostics of a Comprehensive Dystonia Cohort
In 167 dystonia patients, fibroblast RNA-seq identified expression/splicing abnormalities in dystonia genes, validated loss-of-function effects (underexpression in 10/15 cases), and provided a 6.9% diagnostic uplift (9/131) for previously unsolved cases. The new diagnoses were driven by overlooked splice-region and deep intronic variants, with ML scores supporting predicted brain-relevant expression effects.
